Lethal Gimmick

My humidor that I ordered and received a free hygrometer that has been taking up room on top of my cigars inside the box measuring the humidity, so I decided to integrate it into the top of the humidor case for both looks and functionality.

Now I can see the humidity of my cigars without having to open it the box and release moisture to check if the humidity dishes need to be refilled with water.

The project came out pretty good using aquarium sealant and a 1 1/4 circle saw drill bit.

(Note: If you try this please don't use a hardware store sink/bath sealant, caulk type chemical, they sell the silicon rubber sealant at pet stores that are safe and non-toxic for animals and humans and work better.)
